Spring Babe Ruth Baseball League
For Visalia Players Ages 13-15
VYB is excited to offer our first Spring Babe Ruth
baseball league for Visalia players ages 13 - 15. Games will be played on Saturdays ONLY!
Games will be played at Houk Park on Ranger Field, home of the Redwood Frosh/Soph

A baseball 2-3 hour mini-camp will
take place on Sunday, March 11, 2012 2 PM at Houk Park (Ranger Field @ Royal Oaks Elem.) Player attendance is required at this event. Bring your baseball gear and be ready for a solid 2 hour workout featuring defensive drills and hitting.
Season begins March 24!
You can sign up at Houk Park on Sunday, March 11th. However, we encourage you to sign up here on-line today!
Attention Jr. High School rostered players! We both welcome and encourage you to sign up and play Babe Ruth Spring baseball. We will respect your school practice and game schedule and maintain the same "school ball first" approach that we always have at VYB.

Majors and AAA Update: The Majors draft was held on Saturday night and all of the drafted players have been called by the managers. If your son was not called, he will be placed on a AAA team and these teams will be formed this coming week and the managers should be calling their players by the end of this week, or February 17th

World Series title in Cal Ripken history! Game DVD's are Ready to Order...
If you have noticed, there have been video cameras all over the field recording each game and the opening ceremonies. The audio visual team takes the footage from all 3, and sometimes 4 cameras, back to their edit bay and creates a DVD of each game.
If you would like to capture the memory of your son participating in the 2011 World Series, there's likely no better way. Three years from now when he's playing high school baseball and asking you for the car keys, you can pop in this DVD and relive these wonderful times when they were 12. This service is provided by a third party company and is not affiliated with Visalia Youth Baseball. However, we selected them based upon their abilities and service. They have prepared the order form that you can download on the link below to order any individual game DVD of your choosing.
